Summary

Ring Protocol has integrated Orbs’ Layer 3 infrastructure to bring decentralized limit orders and time-weighted average price orders to traders on Base, Arbitrum, Ethereum, and BNB Chain. The deployment adds Orbs’ dLIMIT and dTWAP protocols to a multi-chain trading venue that says it has processed more than $5 billion in volume and holds more than $30 million in total value locked across its native swap and aggregator network. The tools are designed to let users define execution parameters without giving up custody of their assets or paying extra platform fees, while helping reduce slippage and market impact. The rollout also extends Orbs’ trading infrastructure across another decentralized exchange after previous deployments on PancakeSwap, SushiSwap and QuickSwap.

Terms & Concepts
  • TWAP: A trading method that breaks a large order into smaller trades executed over time.
  • limit orders: Orders set to execute only when a specified price is reached or improved.
  • total value locked: The total value of assets deposited in a decentralized finance protocol.
