Schall Brown & Schwartz says the proposed suit covers Photronics investors who bought shares from Dec. 10, 2025 to May 27, 2026 and alleges misleading statements about revenue visibility, growth, and chip-design pipeline bottlenecks.
A securities class action has been filed against Photronics, Inc. on behalf of investors who purchased securities between December 10, 2025 and May 27, 2026, with a September 4, 2026 deadline to seek appointment as lead plaintiff. According to the investor notice, the complaint alleges Photronics violated Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 10b-5 by misleading investors about its ability to project revenue and growth while its release pipeline for high-end chip designs was experiencing severe bottlenecks. Schall Brown & Schwartz LLP said shareholders who incurred losses may seek to participate in the case or request appointment as lead plaintiff, though lead-plaintiff status is not required to share in any potential recovery. The proposed class has not yet been certified.
