The exchange will begin rolling out tokenized stock and ETF pairs quoted in USDT, with deposits, spot trading and withdrawals opening in stages across July 28 and July 29.
OKX said it will list Unified Tokenized Stocks on its spot market, expanding tokenized equity trading with assets that track the price exposure of underlying stocks or ETFs in share units and trade under tickers prefixed with an uppercase X, such as XAAPL and XTSLA. The product is powered by xStocks, Payward's tokenized equity framework, supports deposits and withdrawals on Solana and X Layer, and offers 24/7 trading in USDT pairs. OKX said the assets do not represent ownership of the underlying company and do not confer shareholder rights such as voting, but can be withdrawn as xStocks. Deposits for all listed assets are scheduled to open at 3:00 UTC on July 28, 2026. Trading and withdrawals will then begin in stages for XHIMS, XGME, XCSCO and XCRWD on July 28, followed by XASML, XAMAT, XXLE, XADBE, XONDS, XGEV, XVRT and XTER on July 29. The exchange said dividend value will be reinvested at the issuer level and reflected as a small increase in share balance after applicable withholding tax, while outside U.S. market hours pricing will be based on the last close plus a market estimate. OKX also said it may consolidate tokenized versions of the same stock issued by multiple providers into a single on-exchange asset with one order book and one set of corporate-action rules. Grid and DCA bots will be supported on all tokenized stock pairs. The exchange said the product has not been registered under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933 and may not be offered or sold to U.S. persons or within the United States, while price-limit controls and other risk-management parameters may be adjusted based on market conditions.
