While U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs notched a third straight week of inflows for the first time since early May, Hyperliquid funds still bucked the broader crypto ETF trend with $8.6111 million in net outflows.
HYPE spot ETFs recorded a net outflow of $8.6111 million during the July 20-24 U.S. trading week, even as broader U.S. spot crypto ETF products continued to attract fresh money. Bitwise's BHYP led Hyperliquid-related withdrawals with $6.8882 million, followed by Grayscale's HYPG with $1.0249 million, according to SoSoValue data previously cited by Wu Blockchain on July 27. Over the same week, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs added $33.79 million, marking a third consecutive week of net inflows for the first time since early May, though the pace remained below the prior two weeks' totals of $197 million and $75.67 million. A seven-session inflow streak ended after about $225.2 million and $240.1 million flowed out on July 23 and July 24, respectively, led by roughly $415 million in withdrawals from BlackRock's IBIT, as bitcoin fell from above $66,500 to below $64,000. Crypto analytics firm BRN said the market had recovered in July after large net outflows in May and June but that institutional investors remained cautious. Spot Ether ETFs took in $104 million during the week, while spot Solana and XRP ETFs gained $7.2 million and $8.15 million, respectively. Despite the weekly outflows, HYPE spot ETFs held total net assets of $288 million, with an ETF market-cap ratio of 2.24% and cumulative net inflows of $293 million.
