Exports to Asia climbed 54.4%, led by Mainland China and Hong Kong, up 59.2%, Singapore, up 83.0%, and Taiwan, up 79.9%, while shipments to the US rose 114.3% and those to Mexico increased 94.2%. Imports also rose 45.4% to $693 billion, and the January-June trade deficit stood at $294.6 billion.
