AIP completes Intelligrated acquisition, combines it with Trew and Transnorm

The combined warehouse automation group generated more than $1 billion in 2025 revenue, employs 3,700 people worldwide and will keep existing brands, products and customer support in place.

Summary

American Industrial Partners said it has completed its acquisition of Honeywell's warehouse and workflow solutions business, including Intelligrated and Transnorm, and is combining those operations with Trew under common ownership to create a larger warehouse automation organization. The combined business generated more than $1 billion in revenue in 2025 and employs more than 3,700 people across North America, South America, Europe and Asia. AIP said the new organization will continue operating Intelligrated, Trew and Transnorm under their existing brands while keeping products, services, contracts, support teams and customer relationships in place to avoid disruption for customers. The group said it offers a broad portfolio spanning systems integration, conveyor, sortation, robotics, automated storage and retrieval systems, palletizing, software, controls and lifecycle services for retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, distribution and parcel operations. Alfred Rebello has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the combined organization. Rebello previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Trew in 2022 before becoming CEO in 2023, and earlier held senior operational leadership roles at Intelligrated following its 2001 founding and through Honeywell's acquisition of the company. He said the combination is aimed at broader capabilities, stronger execution and continued investment in innovation as warehouse automation demand expands. The transaction brings together AIP's existing Trew investment with Honeywell's Intelligrated and Transnorm businesses in a market that Rebello said industry research commonly projects will post double-digit growth into the 2030s. AIP said the combined company is designed to enable faster decision-making and more focused investment, while it works with customers and partners in the coming months on a longer-term operating model.
