U.S. stocks open higher as AI-related shares gain, VIX falls 4.79%

The Dow rose 1.1%, the S&P 500 gained 0.81% and the Nasdaq added 1.09%, while SAP, Workday, Atlassian, Cadence and UiPath all advanced.
