TRON DAO said TRX futures are now listed on CFTC-regulated Bitnomial, giving eligible U.S. investors a tool to hedge price risk and potentially adding trading history relevant to spot ETF requirements.
TRON DAO said on July 27 that futures for Tron’s native token, TRX, were listed on Bitnomial, a CFTC-regulated exchange and clearinghouse. The product allows eligible U.S. investors and institutions to use exchange-traded futures to manage TRX price risk through a regulated derivatives venue rather than the spot market. Bitnomial also said trading history in the contract could become one factor relevant to spot ETF listing requirements, adding a potential link between regulated futures activity and any future ETF considerations for TRX. The listing expands the range of crypto-linked derivatives available on the Chicago-based platform, which was previously acquired by Payward, Kraken’s parent company.
