The move expands LabX to include DXC’s AI Platforms Engine as the company pushes its Fast Track strategy for higher-growth AI opportunities.
DXC Technology said Holly Grant has been named President, AI Innovation and Strategy & LabX, widening her role across the company’s AI-native product incubation work and its AI partner platform strategy. Grant will continue to report directly to DXC CEO Raul Fernandez while also continuing to lead strategy and innovation for the company. The expanded LabX remit adds the AI Platforms Engine, which brings together DXC’s offerings across Amazon Quick, Anthropic’s Claude and Microsoft Copilot. DXC said the setup is designed to combine AI-native product development, platform expertise and delivery capabilities so it can design, build and deploy practical AI solutions at scale with strategic partners. Launched in April, LabX was created to turn AI innovation into practical solutions that can be tested inside DXC and with customers before broader deployment. Under the new structure, DXC said it will operate through an open AI ecosystem, allowing customers to choose technologies that best fit their business rather than relying on a single model, vendor or interface. The company said that approach is backed by its industry expertise, mission-critical technology experience and global delivery capabilities, including tens of thousands of forward-deployed engineers, or FDEs (engineers embedded with customers), to speed agentic AI transformation. Fernandez said the change supports DXC’s operating model of pursuing a fast track for high-growth opportunities while strengthening and scaling its mature core business. Grant said customers are focused less on whether AI matters and more on who can turn it into business results, and that LabX is intended to help them move beyond pilot projects to scaled deployment across core systems.
