The tie-up aims to support inventory and customer sales financing as VinFast expands its German dealer network and broader European EV retail presence.
VinFast said it has partnered with akf-Bank to provide financing solutions for dealers in Germany, aiming to support the expansion of its dealer network and encourage broader electric-vehicle adoption. The jointly developed offering is designed for dealers at different stages of growth, with financing for vehicle inventory and support for sales to both private and fleet customers. VinFast said akf-Bank will also provide tailored financing concepts to give dealers more flexibility as market conditions shift. CEO of VinFast Europe Christian Marti said Germany is a key European market and that a strong dealer network is central to the company’s long-term growth. akf-Bank Sales Director autofinanz Rainer Bickel said the automotive industry’s transformation creates new opportunities and that the bank wants to help VinFast dealers develop their business and support the market ramp-up of electromobility in Germany. VinFast said the agreement marks another milestone in its growth in Germany as it expands its retail presence across Europe. The company said it has introduced the VF 6 electric SUV, the VF 8 electric SUV and electric buses in Germany and across Europe, while also building out sales through dealer and distributor partnerships. VinFast added that its customer support network in Europe includes partnerships with Mobivia for after-sales services and Plugsurfing for charging access.
