Nexo said it continues serving the EEA through German MiCA-licensed partners Tangany and DLT Finance after the EU transition period ended, as some unlicensed crypto firms suspended regional services.
Nexo said its products remain available across the European Economic Area through two regulated German partners after MiCA’s transition period ended on July 1. The company said it provides services through Tangany for crypto custody and DLT Finance for brokerage and trade execution, relying on licensed European infrastructure while maintaining its client-facing platform. Tangany and DLT Finance both hold MiCA licences in Germany, and both also operate under MiFID II permissions, according to the update. Tangany provides digital-asset custody, while DLT Finance supplies brokerage and execution infrastructure. The announcement comes as crypto firms that did not secure MiCA authorisation have suspended services in the European Union this month following the end of the transition period. The setup underscores a partner-led model for remaining active in the region under the bloc’s unified crypto regime.
