The new organization packages consulting, engineering and delivery services around agentic AI, with three service models aimed at moving companies from pilots to production across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Cognizant said it has created an EMEA AI unit focused on helping companies across Europe, the Middle East and Africa turn AI ambitions into business value. The new organization aligns with the company’s AI Builder strategy and combines consulting, development and implementation capabilities to build, deploy and operate agentic AI (AI systems using autonomous software agents) tailored to each client’s business context while remaining independent of any single platform, model or cloud provider. At the center of the launch is Cognizant’s Frontier-Deployed Engineering offering, which is designed to bridge the gap between experimentation and scalable business impact through three service models: Foundation, Accelerate and Transform. The company said the unit is already supporting clients at different stages of maturity, including a leading European online fashion retailer and a global pharmaceutical company. Manoj Mehta, President EMEA at Cognizant, said many businesses in the region are enthusiastic about AI but are still working to convert that momentum into real business value.
