The French luxury group reported €4.094 billion in quarterly revenue, beating estimates as leather goods demand and strength in the Americas and Japan offset more than €360 million in currency pressure.
Hermès reported stronger second-quarter 2026 sales growth, adding to signs that demand at the high end of the luxury market remains resilient despite currency headwinds. The group said revenue for the three months reached €4.094 billion, up 4.8% as reported and 6.7% at constant exchange rates from a year earlier, accelerating from 5.6% growth in the first quarter and topping the Bloomberg analyst consensus of 6.51%. Hermès said exchange-rate movements cut more than €360 million from revenue by the end of June, but demand for leather goods and solid growth in the Americas and Japan helped offset the drag. The company also said first-half recurring operating income rose to €3.351 billion, with a recurring operating margin of 41.0%, and it reaffirmed its medium-term sales growth target at constant exchange rates as remaining "ambitious."
