Bitget said inactive CFD MT5 accounts with no assets or orders will be archived after 30 days, with archived accounts able to be reactivated through the platform.
Bitget said CFD MT5 accounts that remain inactive for 30 consecutive days will be automatically archived if they also have no assets, no open positions and no pending orders. The exchange said archived accounts will have their credit balance reset to zero, while transfers, trading functions and access to asset information such as balance, equity, positions and order history will be disabled until reactivation. Users can reactivate archived accounts through the platform, with the original MT5 account ID retained and historical trading records restored after reactivation. Bitget previously said reactivation requires the account to pass a risk-control review and the user to have completed level 1 identity verification and submitted a valid proof of address. Bitget has also outlined how users can access the reactivation portal across its app and web interface, including from the CFD page under the TradFi tab, the Personal Assets page and the one-tap trading area at the bottom of the K-line page in the app, as well as the CFD trading page, assets page and CFD information page on the web.
