The Solana DEX aggregator merged its swap and terminal products into one page, adding market intelligence tools as JUP rose about 8% after the launch.
Jupiter launched Spot V2 on July 29, 2026, combining its Solana swap aggregator and Terminal trading interface into a single page that places research and execution side by side. The release adds live news curated by human editors, a sector heatmap for Solana tokens, a feed of X posts seen as moving prices, and tracking for whale wallets and top-performing trader addresses, integrating Jupiter's Pulse and Smart Money dashboards into the main trading screen. Spot V2 also includes Ultra Mode, which Jupiter says can reduce total trading costs including gas and slippage by roughly 10x, along with smart trigger orders, real-time slippage estimates and an organic token scoring system designed to surface tokens based on authentic on-chain activity rather than market cap. The launch builds on Jupiter's dominant position in Solana spot trading: Solana Compass data showed $2.9 billion in spot DEX swap volume through Jupiter's aggregator in the seven days to July 28 across 12.5 million swaps, with roughly 165,000 unique wallets on a typical day. JUP climbed approximately 8% in the hours after the announcement, and Jupiter said more features will roll out over the coming weeks.
