Hollander said the departure was a personal decision rather than a professional one, as he praised OpenSea’s leadership, marketing team and product roadmap while ruling out an immediate move to another job.
OpenSea Chief Marketing Officer Adam Hollander said he will leave the NFT marketplace this week after about 18 months in the role, describing the move as a personal decision rather than one driven by work. Hollander said he is not taking another job and will instead focus on his health, family and personal interests, while staying involved with OpenSea as a user and informal adviser. He said his confidence in the company has increased during his tenure and pointed to products still in development that he said bear his fingerprints. OpenSea co-founder and CEO Devin Finzer thanked Hollander publicly for his contributions. Hollander joined during a period when OpenSea was broadening beyond its core NFT marketplace, including plans signaled in June for perpetual futures tied to Hyperliquid infrastructure and a wider strategy that also includes the delayed SEA token rollout.
