Hyperinsight said the trader spent about $223,000 at an average 27.63 cents while a linked Hyperliquid wallet also held the platform’s largest WTI crude long.
Polymarket trader “xm39” built a large position on the prediction-market platform in roughly six hours, making 223 purchases to accumulate 806,700 Yes shares on the contract “The U.S. will invade Iran before 2027.” Hyperinsight said the stake cost about $223,000 at an average price of 27.63 cents. The analytics account also linked the trader to a wallet starting 0x40f on Hyperliquid, a crypto derivatives platform, where it said the account was the platform’s largest WTI crude long, holding 155,200 CL contracts worth about $13.22 million with roughly $510,500 in unrealized profit. The positioning ties a geopolitical prediction bet to a sizable oil trade, a combination markets often watch because conflict expectations can spill over into energy prices.
