The board appointment comes with option grants and marketing consultancy disclosures as NevGold links Bensing’s government affairs background to strategic discussions around its Nevada antimony-gold project.
NevGold has appointed Scott Bensing to its board as an independent non-executive director, effective immediately, adding a Nevada-based government affairs and external relations veteran as the company advances its Limousine Butte antimony-gold project in Nevada. The company said Bensing has more than 25 years of experience in external relations and government affairs at the State of Nevada and federal levels, including service as former Executive Director of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, a Senate Leadership staff member, and the first Chief of Staff to U.S. Senator John Ensign. NevGold said Bensing’s background spans policy, legislative and regulatory affairs, military service and Nevada civic roles. Brandon Bonifacio said the appointment would support strategic discussions around the company’s Limo Butte project after a recently announced maiden Mineral Resource Estimate defined what he called a strategic domestic antimony resource with implications for U.S. national security. Alongside the appointment, NevGold granted 4,850,000 stock options to certain directors, officers and consultants at an exercise price of $1.50 per share expiring July 30, 2031. The company also disclosed the continuation of a marketing engagement with Equedia Network Corporation for an additional estimated three-month term starting July 10, 2026 for C$250,000, following an initial three-month term that began February 24, 2026, and outlined a media agency agreement with Global One Media Group Pte. Ltd. beginning May 1, 2026. Both marketing engagements are subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.
