Oracle broadened its Google Cloud alliance from Gemini access in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to Fusion Applications and NetSuite, extending its multi-model AI strategy as shares rose more than 6% to $125.76.
Oracle and Google Cloud have expanded their artificial intelligence partnership beyond Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, or OCI, to include Oracle Fusion Applications and NetSuite. Oracle first added Google’s Gemini 2.5 Pro, Flash and Flash-Lite models to OCI’s Generative AI service on August 14, 2025, giving enterprise customers access to multimodal analysis, coding assistance, AI agents and workflow automation without moving data off Oracle’s cloud. In the newer expansion, Oracle said Gemini models will be integrated into Oracle AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications and NetSuite, where they can support autonomous AI agents across finance, supply chain, human resources and customer experience workflows. Oracle said the application-layer rollout will use Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite for high-efficiency, cost-optimized tasks and Gemini 3.5 Flash for more advanced reasoning, including dynamic video and presentation generation. Chris Leone, executive vice president of applications development at Oracle, said customers need flexibility to choose the AI model best suited to each task, while NetSuite founder and executive vice president Evan Goldberg said Gemini access can help users improve visibility, automate work and move from insight to action. The move builds on Oracle’s model-agnostic or multi-model strategy, which also included a June 2025 agreement with xAI to offer Grok 3 through OCI, and investors appeared to welcome the deeper Google tie-up, sending Oracle shares up more than 6% to close at $125.76 on Wednesday.
