The leadership reshuffle takes effect immediately as DXC says it is aligning its operations and growth strategy around AI, with Raul Fernandez remaining chief executive officer.
DXC Technology said Paul Taylor has been appointed president of the company, succeeding Raul Fernandez, who remains chief executive officer, while Dan Gray becomes president of Global Infrastructure Services with immediate effect. The company said the changes are designed to put a new generation of AI-focused leaders at the center of the business and further streamline the organization for clients, partners and employees. Taylor will oversee DXC’s global operations and take end-to-end responsibility for client growth, business execution, operational performance, profitability and delivery across a business of about $13 billion. He will cover both DXC’s Core and Fast Track strategies, spanning the company’s five geographic markets and its three global offering businesses: Global Infrastructure Services, Consulting & Engineering Services, and Insurance Software & Business Process Services. DXC said Ramnath Venkataraman and Ray August will continue to lead CES and ISB, respectively, and all three presidents will report directly to Taylor. The move follows the earlier announcement of Holly Grant as president of AI Innovation and Strategy & LabX, DXC’s AI-native product incubation program, and AI Platforms Engine. DXC described the combined leadership changes as a decisive step in building an AI-centered future. Chris Drumgoole, the current GIS president, is leaving the company for a leadership role outside DXC and will join the newly formed CEO Advisory Council as a founding member. Taylor, who has more than 30 years of technology and commercial leadership experience, was a partner at IHS Markit during a period that ended with its sale to S&P Global. More recently, he founded and led HUB, an AI-driven financial technology company later acquired by OSTTRA. Gray, a 19-year DXC veteran, most recently served as GIS vice president and chief technology officer, leading Global Client Technical Operations, a team of more than 45,000 technology professionals. In that role, he co-led and provided technical leadership for DXC OASIS, which the company said moved from concept to production in a little over a year. DXC said the restructuring is intended to strengthen accountability, simplify decision-making and speed execution, while helping customers modernize and transform through AI (artificial intelligence). The release also included forward-looking statement language saying expectations and beliefs described in the announcement are not guaranteed to be achieved.
