AI agent security tool V12 said it has raised a $10 million seed round led by Electric Capital, with participation from ZachXBT, samczsun and Walden Yan. The company linked the financing to its security work, saying its team previously discovered a major vulnerability on a major blockchain that put more than $100 million at risk. V12 said it received a $2.5 million bug bounty for that finding and described it as the largest single bounty earned by an AI agent. The announcement underscores investor interest in automated security tools as crypto projects face persistent smart contract risk.
