The proposed securities class action covers purchases from Dec. 10, 2025 to May 27, 2026 and alleges Photronics misled investors about its revenue outlook and growth pipeline.
Photronics, Inc. (NASDAQ: PLAB) investors who bought securities during the class period from Dec. 10, 2025 to May 27, 2026 have until Sept. 4, 2026 to seek appointment as lead plaintiff in a proposed securities class action being promoted by The Schall Law Firm. The complaint alleges Photronics made false and misleading statements by leading investors to believe it could accurately project revenue and growth even as its high-end chip design release pipeline was suffering from severe bottlenecks, leaving public statements materially misleading throughout the class period. The suit cites alleged violations of Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and SEC Rule 10b-5, and the firm said investors can still participate in any recovery without serving as lead plaintiff.
