The Nasdaq-listed fund brings the firm's institutional equity extension strategy to ETF investors, with a temporary fee waiver cutting the management fee to 49 basis points through February 29, 2028.
J.P. Morgan Asset Management has launched the JPMorgan US Large Cap Value Plus ETF (JLVP) on the Nasdaq Exchange, marking the firm's first actively managed extension strategy in an ETF. The fund targets long-term capital appreciation through a U.S. large-cap portfolio paired with an extension sleeve, allowing it to take both long positions and short positions (bets that a stock will fall) in equities. The firm said the structure is designed to help investors diversify portfolios and access a strategy it has managed in institutional portfolios since 2016. JLVP is co-managed by Scott Blasdell and Jim Brown, and draws on J.P. Morgan Asset Management's U.S. equities research platform, including 60 analysts with an average of 20 years of industry experience. The strategy uses a 40-year fundamental valuation framework and, as of June 30, 2026, the firm managed $25 billion in global equity extension strategies. J.P. Morgan Asset Management said it will temporarily waive part of the ETF's management fee, lowering it to 49 basis points through February 29, 2028, before an expected 65 basis point fee thereafter. It also said net expenses are shown as 105 basis points after accounting for the fund's estimated short dividend expense.
