Netskope said Gartner, Inc. recognized it as a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) Platforms, marking the third consecutive year the company has received that designation. The company said it was positioned highest in Ability to Execute in the new report. In Gartner’s companion Critical Capabilities for SASE Platforms report, Netskope said it was the only vendor ranked as the highest scoring across three use cases: Foundational SASE Platform at 4.24/5, Zero Trust SASE Platform at 4.43/5, and Sovereign SASE at 4.16/5. SASE (cloud-delivered network and security architecture) combines networking and security functions into a unified platform, while zero trust (never-trust, always-verify security model) centers on strict access controls. CEO and co-founder Sanjay Beri said the recognition reflects customer demand for security and networking built for AI-first operations. Netskope tied the announcement to its Netskope One platform and NewEdge private cloud infrastructure, which it said are designed to converge security, networking, analytics, and AI services while maintaining performance and low latency. The company also highlighted Gartner market assumptions it said support its positioning: by 2028, 50% of new SASE deployments will use a single-vendor platform, up from 30% in 2025; 70% of SD-WAN purchases will be part of those offerings; vendors without strong AI controls and integrations such as DSPM (data security posture management) and SEB (secure enterprise browser) may need partners to remain competitive; and by 2027, 30% of organizations will require sovereignty over cloud security controls amid geopolitical pressures.
