The proposed class covers Wix.com securities purchases from February 19, 2025 to May 12, 2026, with the case pending in Illinois over claims the company overstated AI product benefits and understated related costs.
Wix.com Ltd. investors who bought securities between February 19, 2025 and May 12, 2026 have until September 22, 2026 to seek appointment as lead plaintiff in a securities class action pending in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, captioned Yappi v. Wix.com Ltd., et al., No. 26-cv-08852. The complaint alleges Wix and certain executives misled the market by overstating the competitiveness, performance and commercial benefits of the company's AI product offerings while understating the costs of developing and promoting them. Earlier filings tied those alleged omissions to AI compute, marketing and Base44-related support costs, including a $32.1 million hit to third-quarter 2025 free cash flow. Wix reported Q3 2025 free cash flow of $127.3 million and said it would have been $159.4 million excluding acquisition-related costs. Investors do not need to serve as lead plaintiff to share in any potential recovery.
