Hyperliquid, Succinct and Ethena lead a heavier schedule of new token supply, with PROVE alone set to unlock more than the token's current released supply.
Crypto markets are set to absorb about $630.2 million of token unlocks in the first week of August, led by releases from Hyperliquid, Succinct and Ethena. Hyperliquid will unlock 433,000 HYPE worth $22.74 million on Aug. 6 for core contributors, a tranche equal to 0.19% of released supply, while Tokenomist said HYPE has historically seen fewer claimed tokens than projected unlock amounts. Succinct is scheduled to release 208.33 million PROVE worth $34.7 million on Aug. 5, exceeding the token's entire released supply at 104.17% of tokens currently on the market. Ethena will unlock 171.88 million ENA worth $15.36 million on Aug. 5, with tokens allocated to core contributors and investors. Opinion, BounceBit and Momentum are also due to add supply during the week, underscoring the potential for short-term volatility as more tokens enter circulation.
