Vietnam industrial production grows 14.5% in July 2026

The pace accelerated from a revised 12.9% in June, as manufacturing and processing strengthened and monthly output continued to rise across the sector.

Vietnam's industrial production rose 14.5% year on year in July 2026, up from an upwardly revised 12.9% increase in June and the strongest expansion since January 2026. The improvement was driven mainly by faster growth in manufacturing and processing, which climbed 15.0% after 12.8% in June, and in water supply, waste management and wastewater treatment, which rose 14.9% after 10.1%. Mining and quarrying held steady at 10.4%, while electricity production and distribution slowed to 12.5% from 15.2%. Industrial output also increased 1.2% from the previous month, and production for the January-July period was 11.4% higher than a year earlier.
