The SFC said BiFinance falsely claimed to be licensed in Hong Kong, while three websites were added to its fraud alert list alongside DFX Labs Company Limited.
Hong Kong’s SFC has added BiFinance to its list of suspicious virtual asset trading platforms, saying the company claimed to be licensed in Hong Kong and offered digital asset spot trading, futures and wealth management services on its website, along with other digital asset-related services. The regulator said BiFinance is not licensed by the SFC and is suspected of carrying out unlicensed activities. Separately, the SFC said licensed virtual asset trading platform DFX Labs Company Limited reported the website "dfxlabs.org," and the sites "fgzc.tips," "dwzc.tips" and "tarikron.shop" were added to its fraud alert list, extending its warning to investors over potentially deceptive crypto-related activity.
