Zealand Pharma A/S said transactions completed between July 27 and July 31 under its 2026 share buyback programme lifted cumulative purchases to 2,339,000 shares for a total of DKK 699,551,800. The company bought 147,000 shares during week 31 for DKK 44,545,390 on Nasdaq Copenhagen. The programme, announced on May 7, 2026, allows Zealand Pharma to repurchase shares for up to DKK 1.3 billion, with a maximum of 7,152,557 shares. It began on May 7 and is due to be completed no later than October 31, 2026. Danske Bank is acting as lead manager and makes trading decisions independently of the company. The buyback is being carried out under the EU Market Abuse Regulation and the Safe Harbour Regulation. After the latest purchases, Zealand Pharma held 3,209,482 treasury shares, equal to about 4.48% of its share capital. The company has 71,578,758 shares outstanding, each with a nominal value of DKK 1.
