The London-listed company resumed Bitcoin accumulation after repaying its Smarter Convert financing, raising its treasury to 2,712 BTC and moving it to 28th place in BitcoinTreasuries corporate rankings.
Smarter Web Company has added 11.89 BTC to its treasury, taking total holdings to 2,712 BTC and lifting the London-listed firm to 28th place in BitcoinTreasuries.NET's corporate Bitcoin rankings. The purchase follows the company's July repayment of its $11.7 million Smarter Convert instrument, which was settled nearly two weeks early through the sale of 177.8909127 BTC at an average price of $65,762 per coin, leaving holdings at 2,700 BTC at that time. The company said the convertible structure had been used as an alternative funding source while it built its Bitcoin treasury, but management no longer viewed that financing route as the most suitable option at its current stage. The latest buy indicates the company has resumed accumulation under its long-term 10 Year Plan after retiring the instrument with support from investment manager TOBAM and its affiliated entities. Earlier disclosures said the repayment also removed the potential issuance of 7,718,551 ordinary shares tied to the convertible from fully diluted capital calculations.
