The platform gives institutional customers a single interface to manage assets across BitGo custody and external venues, extending approval controls and treasury workflows across connected exchanges.
BitGo has launched Link, a platform that lets institutional clients connect exchange accounts at Coinbase, Kraken and Crypto.com to BitGo’s system for unified digital asset management. The centralized control layer is designed to give treasury and trading teams a single operating interface to view balances held in BitGo custody and on participating exchanges, move assets between venues and BitGo wallets, and apply BitGo’s approval processes and policy controls across connected accounts. BitGo said the product is meant to simplify the operational complexity that comes with fragmented trading and custody infrastructure. Mike Belshe, CEO and co-founder of BitGo, said the launch makes BitGo a command center for institutional treasury and trading. The company said Link is part of its broader institutional stack, combining qualified custody, secure asset movement, and BitGo Prime’s liquidity, financing and collateral services in one platform, with plans to add more exchange integrations and treasury functionality over time. Founded in 2013, BitGo provides regulated cold storage, wallet technology, prime trading, financing, staking, settlement services, stablecoin infrastructure and developer tools. BitGo went public on the New York Stock Exchange in January, becoming one of the first major crypto infrastructure firms to list during the current market cycle.
