The Washington, D.C.-based bipartisan public affairs and government relations firm said Billeter will lead digital strategy and intelligence after senior roles at Burson and other organizations.
FTP said it has hired Chris Billeter as Executive Vice President and Head of Digital Strategy and Intelligence, adding a senior communications and political strategist to expand the firm's digital advocacy capabilities. The Washington, D.C.-based bipartisan public affairs and government relations firm said Billeter brings nearly two decades of experience in digital media, political strategy, and corporate communications. He previously served as a Senior Vice President at Burson and also held roles at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization, DCI Group, Seven Letter, and the National Republican Congressional Committee. Managing Partner Robert Mathias said the appointment is meant to strengthen FTP's integrated digital capabilities as clients navigate a more complex communications and policy environment. Billeter said he plans to lead the firm's digital advocacy practice and further develop the digital tools and technologies used to help clients shape debates and deliver measurable results.
