Trasteel said its Italian subsidiary completed a Cuneo plant modernization with ABB and CIEB Nuova, adding real-time energy monitoring and predictive maintenance as it pursues a Nasdaq-bound business combination with Sizzle Acquisition Corp. II.
Trasteel Holding S.A. said Profilmec Group, its Italian subsidiary that produces cold-formed, high-frequency welded steel tubes and profiles, completed an energy-efficiency and digitalization upgrade at its Cuneo, Italy site in early July 2026. Developed with ABB and CIEB Nuova, the project adds a new low-voltage electrical switchboard, real-time energy monitoring, digitally protected circuit breakers and a centralized touchscreen panel to support predictive maintenance and more data-driven energy management. The company said the upgrade forms part of a broader effort to improve operational performance and modernize its industrial platform as it works toward a proposed business combination with Sizzle Acquisition Corp. II that is expected, subject to conditions, to create a public holding company trading under the symbol TSTL.
