The deal expands the provider-led healthcare organization's network to four states and adds seven primary care practices, a diagnostic center and Huron Valley Practice Affiliates effective Aug. 3, 2026.
Bookmark Medical said it has completed its acquisition of Village Medical Michigan, giving the provider-led healthcare organization its first presence in Michigan and expanding its care network to four states. Effective Aug. 3, 2026, the transaction adds seven primary care practices, a diagnostic center and Huron Valley Practice Affiliates, an independent physician organization, to Bookmark Medical's network. The acquisition covers approximately 40 providers, more than 350 employees and over 40,000 patients across Southeast Michigan, including practices in Farmington, Livonia, Northville, Novi, South Lyon, Walled Lake and Westland. The company said patients will keep seeing the same providers at the same locations and using the same phone numbers as the practices gradually transition to the Bookmark Medical name. Bookmark Medical said the move fits its growth strategy in community-based healthcare and extends its patient-centered model across Arizona, Massachusetts, Michigan and Tennessee.
