The deal gives WareMatch's network of 3PLs and shippers free access to parcel refund recovery software, while giving ShipPlug its first structured route into the 3PL market at scale.
WareMatch said it has entered an exclusive partnership with ShipPlug that brings automated FedEx and UPS refund recovery to warehouses and shippers using the platform. The integration is already live on warematch.com, with a dedicated landing page in development. Under the arrangement, WareMatch is licensing ShipPlug's technology and offering it free to its network of 3PLs (third-party logistics providers) and shippers. Businesses can connect a FedEx or UPS account number and let ShipPlug's software monitor carrier invoices, identify late deliveries and file refund claims tied to service guarantees, without changing existing shipping workflows. ShipPlug charges no upfront fee and takes a percentage only from the savings it recovers. The companies positioned the partnership as a practical way to capture shipping refunds that many businesses fail to claim because they lack the time or internal processes to audit invoices consistently. WareMatch said the offering can also help 3PLs differentiate themselves when pitching prospective clients by adding automatic carrier refund recovery from the outset. Ryan Kalisky, CEO and co-founder of WareMatch, said the partnership adds operational value for users while helping ShipPlug expand deeper into the 3PL market. Nick DiNatale, CEO and co-founder of ShipPlug, said some 3PL clients have already recovered thousands in carrier refunds they did not know they were owed. WareMatch, founded in 2025 and based in Montreal, said the agreement gives ShipPlug its first structured entry into the 3PL segment through WareMatch's existing network.
