BitMine deposited 150,120 ETH worth about $280 million into Ethereum staking roughly two hours before the report, according to on-chain analyst Ember CN. The move lifted the company’s total Ether holdings to 5.7978 million ETH, of which 5.0673 million ETH, or 87%, is now staked. At the current annualized yield of 2.66%, the staked position would generate about 134,800 ETH a year, worth roughly $250 million.
