Cyprus's annual inflation rate eased to 2.93% in July 2026 from 3.06% in June, reflecting slower price growth across several major categories including food and non-alcoholic beverages, transport, recreation, sports and culture, education, health, restaurants and accommodation services, and personal care and miscellaneous goods. Housing and utilities posted a sharper increase, while alcoholic beverages and tobacco also edged higher. Clothing and footwear and information and communication remained in deflation, though the pace of price declines softened, and furnishings and household maintenance stayed in deflation. On a monthly basis, consumer prices fell 0.66%, reversing a 0.25% increase in June.
