IREN has closed its acquisition of cloud software provider Mirantis, issuing about 12.6 million ordinary shares fixed at signing and providing cash, restricted stock units and other consideration of about $40 million as of closing. The company said the deal adds software for AI workload orchestration, monitoring and customer support to its owned data centers and compute platform, broadening its ability to serve hyperscalers, enterprises and AI developers across bare metal and managed cloud services. Mirantis brings more than 1,500 enterprise customers, is an inaugural partner of the NVIDIA AI Cloud Ready Initiative, and will continue developing and supporting its open-source k0rdent AI platform.
