The agreement gives the prediction market platform exclusive U.S. rights to Serie A branding and Genius Sports data feeds, but does not include streaming rights.
Polymarket has struck a multiyear exclusive agreement to become the official U.S. prediction market partner for Serie A, Italy’s top-flight soccer league, with the deal confirmed around May 14, 2026. The partnership makes Polymarket the only prediction platform in the United States authorized to use Serie A branding, logos and official data feeds, while excluding any video distribution or streaming rights. The arrangement gives Polymarket access to data feeds sourced from Genius Sports, a feature that could matter more than the branding itself as prediction markets compete on reliability and market integrity. Official league data is widely used across sports betting, and plugging into that infrastructure may help Polymarket present its blockchain-based markets as a more credible venue for sports-related forecasting. Ari Borod, a representative from Polymarket, said the agreement fits into a broader push to build out the company’s ecosystem ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which is set to take place across North America this summer. Serie A is Polymarket’s third major soccer league partnership this year after deals with Major League Soccer in January and LaLiga in April, extending its reach across three globally watched competitions. The agreement also supports Serie A’s efforts to expand its audience in the U.S. market, where the league benefits from English- and Spanish-language broadcasting agreements through the 2025-26 season.
