Santiment said 1.26 million LINK and 4.54 trillion PEPE left exchanges in 24 hours, tightening near-term sellable supply as traders track institutional adoption and a possible PEPE ETF decision.
Chainlink and PEPE logged their largest daily exchange outflows in months, with 1.26 million LINK worth $10.3 million leaving platforms in 24 hours, the biggest withdrawal since June 29, and 4.54 trillion PEPE exiting exchanges, the largest since Nov. 14, 2024. Santiment said the moves reduce the supply readily available for sale and may ease near-term selling pressure, while noting that lower exchange balances alone do not ensure price gains. The LINK move also comes against a backdrop of institutional usage and infrastructure developments, including the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation's earlier inclusion of Chainlink among technology providers and broader support for its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol, or CCIP, across networks such as Canton and Robinhood Chain. For PEPE, the firm said traders are watching a possible ETF decision and rotation in the memecoin market.
