Institutions across all 30 European Economic Area nations can now access Ripple Payments through a single regulated setup under the EU's MiCA framework.
Ripple has secured a full MiCA CASP license in Luxembourg, giving it a regulated footing to offer Ripple Payments across the European Economic Area under one framework. The approval means institutions in all 30 EEA nations can use the company's payments service through a single setup, a structure designed to simplify cross-border crypto operations under the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets rules.
