The Nasdaq-listed AI company said adoption of its FDA 510(k)-cleared EEG/ERP platform is rising as clinics use brain scans to guide and monitor TMS treatment.
Firefly Neuroscience said clinical assessments by Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) centers using its Evoke platform rose 291% from a year earlier, marking what the company described as a near four-fold increase in customer adoption. The company said its U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k)-cleared, AI-powered EEG/ERP platform combines qEEG and ERP to give clinicians a broader view of brain activity and support treatment decisions when psychiatric and behavioral health symptoms overlap. In TMS settings, Firefly said the scans show electrophysiological signals physicians may use to assess patterns associated with depression and mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and ADHD. Chief Executive Officer Greg Lipschitz said the trend reflects execution against Firefly's growth strategy and supports its aim of using EEG/ERP brain scans to help clinicians make more individualized treatment decisions and track brain-function changes over time. He added that assessing brain activity before, during, and after care may help clinicians adjust interventions earlier and may also give patients objective evidence that treatment is working, which could support compliance with multi-session therapy. Firefly said its proprietary database contains more than 200,000 EEG/ERP brain scans, which it believes is the world's largest known standardized EEG/ERP repository.
