Alpaca, a brokerage infrastructure firm focused on APIs and tokenized assets, said it closed a $135 million equity raise led by Peak XV on July 16, 2026, bringing its total financing to $435 million at an approximate $1.15 billion valuation. The company said AI agents are driving a sharp rise in usage on its trading infrastructure, with monthly active API users growing nearly fourfold over the past six months and tokenized equities on the platform reaching $1.5 billion in assets under custody.
