CleanSpark mined 586 BTC in July, averaging 18.91 BTC per day, and lifted its year-to-date production to 4,310 BTC, the company said in an announcement cited by PANews on Aug. 5. As of July 31, it held 13,931 BTC, including 4,070 BTC recorded as collateral or receivables linked to derivatives (contracts tied to asset prices) trading. On the operating side, CleanSpark reported a July hashrate of 50 EH/s (exahashes per second), an average operating hashrate of 38.6 EH/s, 230,507 deployed miners and 808 MW of utilized power. The company sold 229 BTC in the spot market during the month and sold another 350 BTC after call options (contracts giving the right to buy at a set price) were exercised, for an average sale price of $66,133.
