Guadalajara and Tijuana led gains, while Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos and Montego Bay declined as Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico added four routes and posted slightly higher load factors.
Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico said total terminal passenger traffic across its airports rose 1.2% in July 2026 from a year earlier, reaching 5.906 million passengers. The 12 Mexican airports operated by GAP posted a 3.9% increase, with Guadalajara up 13.2% and Tijuana up 7.2%, while Puerto Vallarta fell 12.1% and Los Cabos dropped 6.9%. In Jamaica, Kingston increased 2.9% and Montego Bay declined 26.6%. Domestic traffic rose 6.1% to 3.533 million, while international traffic fell 5.3% to 2.373 million. For January through July, total traffic was down 4.5% to 36.261 million. The company also said available seats increased 0.7% in July and load factor (share of seats filled) edged up to 85.2% from 84.8%. New routes announced for the month were Guanajuato-Santa Lucia on Mexicana, Hermosillo-Santa Lucia on Mexicana, Manzanillo-Santa Lucia on Viva, and Montego Bay-Guadeloupe on Liat Air.
