Lookonchain flagged a grant-linked address transferring most of the Ether to a Gnosis Safe multisig wallet while sending a much smaller amount to Kraken, in activity that appears consistent with routine treasury management.
An address associated with an Ethereum Foundation grant transferred 578.38 ETH worth about $1.08 million to a Gnosis Safe multi-signature wallet and separately deposited 2.675 ETH worth roughly $5,070 to Kraken, according to Lookonchain data showing the moves took place about 12 hours earlier. The larger transfer appears consistent with shifting funds into a more secure treasury setup, while the small exchange deposit may reflect operational needs rather than a broader sale. The address is labeled as a grant recipient rather than a wallet directly controlled by the Ethereum Foundation, which had not commented on the transactions. The activity comes as the foundation's finances continue to draw scrutiny, though the size and destination of the transfers do not by themselves point to imminent selling pressure.
