GSR raised Bitcoin's weighting in its Core3 model portfolio to 19.3% on Aug. 5 from 9.2% on July 15 as trading volumes and volatility eased across Bitcoin, Ether and Solana. Ether still accounted for the largest share at 44.1%, followed by Solana at 36.5%, but the rebalance showed the model leaning more toward Bitcoin even as BTC remained the smallest holding. Solana was the weakest of the three assets, down 40.21% year to date and 54.89% over one year, while Bitcoin had fallen 24.82% in 2026 and Ether 35.49%. Over the most recent 30 days, Ether gained 5.16%, Bitcoin rose 1.26% and Solana fell 9.64%. Core3 was down 37.86% year to date and 57.78% over one year, underperforming an equally weighted basket of the three assets by 3.87 percentage points in 2026 and 7.94 points over one year before costs.
