OnchainLens and Lookonchain separately reported large Bitcoin transfers on Aug. 6-7 from BitGo and Binance into newly created addresses, transactions traders often monitor for custody changes or possible accumulation.
A newly created wallet withdrew 540.17 BTC valued at about $34.9 million from BitGo, according to OnchainLens on Aug. 6, with the transfer said to have occurred roughly three hours before the report. Separately, Lookonchain reported on Aug. 7 that a new address withdrew 434.87 BTC, worth about $27.96 million, from Binance. Both transfers moved sizable amounts of Bitcoin into previously unseen wallets, a pattern the market often watches for signs of custody changes, treasury management or possible accumulation, although neither report identified the owner or purpose of the withdrawals.
