
BlackRock's IBIT led Aug. 5 Bitcoin ETF inflows at $197 million, while on-chain tracking showed it withdrew 1,840 BTC from Coinbase Prime and accumulated about $478.5 million in Bitcoin that week.
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $244 million in net inflows on Aug. 5, according to SoSoValue, led by BlackRock's IBIT at $197 million. Separate on-chain monitoring by Onchain Lens indicated IBIT withdrew 1,840 Bitcoin worth about $119 million from Coinbase Prime on the day, contributing to roughly 7,320 Bitcoin, or about $478.5 million, accumulated so far that week. The flows, alongside more than $221 million of combined inflows into Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs on Aug. 6, suggested continued institutional demand for regulated crypto investment products despite subdued broader market volumes.
