The agreement comes after Instaleap's 2026 acquisition by Instacart and is aimed at helping SPAR Slovenia unify online order management, picking, delivery routing, and marketplace integrations.
Instaleap, the e-commerce fulfillment and last-mile operations software company now part of Instacart, said SPAR Slovenia has selected its platform to support the retailer's e-grocery operations, last-mile delivery, and marketplace integrations across Slovenia. The partnership is aimed at helping SPAR Slovenia centralize online order intake, streamline in-store picking, enable dynamic delivery routing, and improve real-time operational visibility as it expands digital grocery services and modernizes its store network. Instaleap said the deal strengthens its presence in Europe and reflects Instacart's broader push to expand its enterprise grocery technology footprint internationally following the acquisition. The company said its platform is designed to connect digital storefronts, marketplace channels, fulfillment, and logistics in one system, allowing retailers to manage growing online volumes while seeking to protect service levels, delivery times, and margins. Instaleap, which says it works with nearly 80 retailers and marketplaces in close to 30 countries across Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East, cited clients including Walmart, Carrefour, Jeronimo Martins, Continente, REWE, Oxxo, HEB, and Lulu. Bas Groot, VP of Sales EMEA at Instaleap, said the companies are focused on delivering a seamless end-to-end grocery experience that combines operational efficiency with a high-quality customer journey.
